In partnership with our donors, the Foundation is honored to administer multiple donor established scholarship funds. These funds work to further the educational pursuits of the area’s students. Our local scholarship funds honor family members, treasured friends and businesses and corporations; celebrate retirements and anniversaries; and memorialize loved ones to ensure that our community forever remembers the special people and businesses that help create and continue to shape our community. The Foundation takes great pride in honoring every legacy and story behind each scholarship fund. Harold E. & Catherine Cook-Fox Memorial Scholarship Fund- 111
Awards scholarships for graduating seniors from Ravenswood High School who are pursuing a degree in nursing, agriculture or forestry.
Bill Woofter, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund- 102
Provides financial aid for Ripley High School seniors pursuing a degree in education or healthcare in honor Bill Woofter, Sr and his dedication to Ripley through many years of service in the Ripley Fire Dept and volunteer work at Ripley High School.
Dr. Charles Kelly Memorial Scholarship- 110
Provides scholarships for Jackson County high school seniors attending Marshall University. The scholarship fund was established by Dr. Kelly’s family as a special tribute to a man who gave so much to the community.
Ripley Rotary Scholarship Fund- In Memory of James Robinson- 139
Awards scholarships for Jackson County students who are graduating seniors through college age and have a strong record of community service.

Provides scholarships for Jackson County high school seniors attending Marshall University. The scholarship fund was established by Dr. Kelly’s family as a special tribute to a man who gave so much to the community.
Ripley Rotary Scholarship Fund- In Memory of Judge Oliver Kessel- 139
Awards scholarships for Jackson County students who are graduating seniors through college age and have a strong record of community service.
Jackson County Pioneer Fund-
Funds educational programs and other general charitable projects in Jackson County.
Marcus McPhail Memorial Scholarship Fund- 131
Provides scholarships to Jackson County and Calhoun County high school seniors who have participated in high school athletics and community service activities, in memory of Marcus McPhail.
Ripley High School Alumni- In memory of Lorene Goode Postlethwait- 175
Fund provides charitable activities of the Ripley High Alumni Association.

Patricia Shimp Memorial Scholarship Fund- 135
Awards scholarships to Roane County high school seniors.
Viking Voices Scholarship Fund- 146
Awards scholarships to Ripley High School seniors who have excelled in academics and athletics in honor of Mike Ruben and in memory of John Rice.
Alva Barnette Scholarship Fund- 168
Provides scholarships to students who are currently residents of WV with preference given to applicants living in Jackson county. To be eligible must attend Ripley High School with accredited college certificate or vocational program with a GPA of at least 3.0
Rod Hudson Memorial Scholarship Fund- 141
Awards scholarship assistance to Jackson County high school graduating seniors who have participated in high school sports.
Beverly Shatto Memorial Scholarship Fund- 190
Provides scholarships to help a graduating Ripley High School Senior pursue a secondary degree in Education.

Lola Randolph Memory Scholarship Fund- 149
Provides annual scholarship assistance to Jackson County graduating seniors who have involved in the county’s 4-H Program, in memory of Lola Randolph and Everett Randolph.
JCCF, Inc. Scholarship Fund- 117
General scholarship fund provides scholarships for graduating seniors from Jackson County High Schools in memory and honor of special people in the Jackson County area.
