ACTION GRANT JCCF, Inc. is a grant maker and administers over 100 grant and scholarship funds. Some of these grant funds are designated or field of interest grants. The funding for these grants are separate from our spring and fall grant application and may not have as many requirements as do our community impact grant program. Action Grants are $1,000.00 or less.

JCCF, Inc. Action Grant Funds Each year the Lisa Smolder Reading Support Grant Fund provides grants to Jackson County Elementary Schools through the fund holders selection committee and JCCF, Inc. Board of Directors approval. This fund created in memory of Lisa Smolder, a beloved Ripley Elementary School teacher who believed in the joy and power of reading, provides annual grants to elementary school classrooms to purchase books, material, equipment or underwrite programs that encourage reading and enhance reading levels for Kindergarten through 3rd grade students. A preference will be given to Ripley Elementary School. K through 3rd teachers must apply annually for funding through the online Action Grant application. The request needs to describe how the program or project will enrich and/or enhance reading instruction and ultimately benefit Jackson County students. Applications must be submitted with approval from the school principal. The deadline for submission is September 30th.
Project Description
Provide the number of students in your classroom, the reading levels and describe the projects that you have planned that involve the interaction with the books being ordered. You may furnish pictures of the books, projects, and student involvement (only if the student picture form have been signed and approved). Send pictures to manager@jccfinc.org
Invoices or Requisitions Provide invoices, requisitions, or a list of items and the business or store to place the order. For school related projects JCCF, Inc. will purchase the items (limited to two stores for ordering) through our accounting department.
Please get prior approval from the schools principal.
